‘Catholic Church isn’t hiding apocalypse secret’

The only surviving witness to a decades-long conspiracy theory has firmly denied the Catholic Church is hiding details about a predicted apocalypse.

Archbishop Loris Capovilla, 91, said there was no truth in the rumour that the Vatican was suppressing a vision of the end of the world.

The vision said to have been revealed 90 years ago by the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children on a hillside at Fatima in Portugal.

The three “Secrets of Fatima” were written down by one of the children, Lucia Dos Santos, who later became a nun.

Two of the secrets were revealed by the nun in 1941.

The first was a vision of hell, while the second apparently predicted the two world wars and the return of Russia from communism to Christianity.

The third secret, which was sent to Pope John XXIII in a sealed envelope in 1959, was only revealed by Pope John Paul II in 2000.

The Vatican said it referred to an assassination attempt on the pope in 1981 by a Turkish gunman, Mehmet Ali Agca.

However, many Catholics suspected that parts of the secret were not disclosed in order to avoid panic about the apocalypse.

The rumours swelled when the then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict, gave an interview in 1984 suggesting that the secret concerned “the dangers threatening the faith and life of Christianity, and therefore the world. And also the importance of our ultimate days”.

He added that the “things contained in this third secret correspond to what is announced in the Scripture”.

Antonio Socci, a journalist and author of The Fourth Secret of Fatima, said when he attempted to investigate the issue, he was denied access by the Vatican.

Nevertheless, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, the second-in-command at the Vatican, insisted earlier this year that conspiracy theories about an apocalyptic prediction were “pure fantasy”.

Today Mgr Capovilla, who witnessed Pope John XXIII opening the envelope of the third secret, said: “There are not two truths from Fatima and nor is there any fourth secret.

“The text which I read in 1959 is the same that was distributed by the Vatican. I have had enough of these conspiracy theories.

“It just isn’t true. I read it, I presented it to the Pope and we resealed the envelope.”

Secrets, superstitions, sainthood: Cardinal talks of Sister Lucia

VATICAN CITY (CNS) — When Carmelite Sister Lucia dos Santos — the last of three Fatima visionaries — was buried in mid-February, a surprising number of people believed still-secret secrets of Fatima were buried with her.

Her Feb. 13 death also led to widespread discussion in Italy about the number 13, given the fact that the Blessed Virgin Mary promised to appear to Lucia and her two cousins on the 13th of the month. The apparitions took place from May 13 to Oct. 13, 1917.

And, of course, discussion began almost immediately about when the process to canonize her would begin. Her cousins, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, were beatified — a step toward sainthood — in 2000.

Italian Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone of Genoa, who celebrated Sister Lucia’s funeral in the pope’s name, discussed all three issues with the press.

In 2000, when Pope John Paul II ordered the publication of the so-called “third secret” of Fatima — a description of a vision the Blessed Virgin Mary showed the children — groups such as the Canadian-based Fatima Center immediately began claiming that the publication was incomplete and the Vatican was hiding something.

And when Sister Lucia died, the Fatima Center posted a message on its Web site saying it would “continue to campaign for the release of the full third secret.”

But Cardinal Bertone, who had spent hours with Sister Lucia discussing the third secret and the Vatican’s interpretation of it before it was published, categorically denied anything remains a secret.

“I can say, without any doubt, that it is absolutely certain that everything having to do with the secret of Fatima has been revealed and that the third part of the secret is contained in the four pages that we published in their entirety and which correspond exactly to the letter written personally by Sister Lucia,” Cardinal Bertone said Feb. 14 before flying to Portugal for the funeral.

The cardinal said he was aware that people, despite the affirmations of Pope John Paul — unquestionably devoted to the Fatima message — continue to claim there is more to the secret, but he insists the Vatican published everything in its possession.

“I explicitly asked Sister Lucia if she had written something before or after what has been published of the third secret. She herself confirmed that she had written nothing either before or after,” Cardinal Bertone said.

After the funeral, Cardinal Bertone confirmed that Sister Lucia’s computer and all the letters, diaries and other written material found in her cell at the cloister had been collected and sealed.

“They will be examined one by one in the process for her beatification, which will begin soon,” the cardinal said.

However, Cardinal Bertone did not give any timeline for the official opening of her cause, nor did he indicate whether he thought Pope John Paul would waive church rules requiring a five-year waiting period before the process could begin.

Jesuit Father Paolo Molinari, postulator of the cause for Blesseds Francisco and Jacinta, said he personally believes it is important to wait.

“We must avoid the danger of people thinking that she is being beatified or canonized just because of the visions,” he told Catholic News Service Feb. 16.

“The apparitions of Our Lady and what Our Lady said certainly had an impact on Sister Lucia’s life,” he said, but they did not make her holy.

“She accepted the message and she lived according to the message for more than 80 years, offering her life for the sake of sinners. This is holiness, not just receiving the grace of a vision,” the Jesuit said.

The five-year wait allows the church to confirm that a large number of the faithful around the world recognize in a prospective saint a special way of living the Christian faith and helping “bring God’s love, mercy and goodness into the world because she modeled her life on the life of Jesus Christ,” Father Molinari said.

As for the number 13, it was part of the story — at least in Italy — of Sister Lucia’s passing.

Cardinal Bertone was asked to comment.

“The fact that the number 13 connects almost all the apparitions and was the date (May 13, 1981) of the attempted assassination of the pope is something more than simple coincidence, I think,” the cardinal said. The pope has linked the assassination attempt to the third secret of Fatima.

“In the same way, I think it is a heavenly sign that the Madonna called Sister Lucia to herself precisely on the 13th of February,” the cardinal said.

The cardinal said people should remember the 13th of each month, “not out of superstition,” but simply because God and the Blessed Virgin Mary had done extraordinary things on that date in the past.

Cardinal Bertone said he last visited Sister Lucia in November 2003 and told her that he would come visit her again.

“She told me that I would not see her alive again, but that I would come only to bless her casket. She knew even this,” the cardinal told reporters.

“I am not saying this was a prophecy, but it was the simple truth,” he said.

The word Mabus is seen in prophecy. Nostradamus prophecy more precisely. Mabus has been interpreted in the past as being Obama or Bush or a combination of the two as a sect. Mabus has also been associated to Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.

Mabus could be Osa-MABUS-h or ObaMABUS-h. Either way, I think we’re fucked.

The War of Light Against Darkness

The Shrine of the Book, a wing of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, is built to symbolize the scroll – The shrine is built as a white dome symbolizing the Sons of Light, and a black basalt wall – symbolizing the Sons of Darkness.

The shrine holds one of the Dead Sea scrolls found near Qumran. The War Scroll is an apocalyptic work describing the conflict at the end of time between the Sons of Light and the Sons of Darkness.

Although this war is said to extend over forty years, the writer of the scroll was particularly concerned with the details of the very final day of battle. After six bloody engagements during this last battle, the Sons of Light and Sons of Darkness are deadlocked in a 3-3 tie. In the seventh and final confrontation “the great hand of God shall overcome Belial and all the angels of his dominion, and all men of his forces shall be destroyed forever” (1QM 1:14-15).

In the end, all of Darkness is to be destroyed and Light will live in peace for all eternity.

I noticed that this war is hidden in the high priestess tarot. Adherents of the Mysteries have long held the idea that the Tarot has its origins in the arcane system of the Kabbalah. The job of the High Priestess, to offer secret knowledge, like the moon on a dark night, so that the querent can find their path. She sits between the pillars of dark and light, existance and negation, wax and wane. All secret knowledge is hers.

In The Secret Teachings of All Ages, Freemason Manly Hall (1901 – 1990) explained:

“Jachin–the white pillar of light…Boaz–the shadowy pillar of darkness. …These two pillars respectively connote also the active and the passive…the sun and the moon…good and bad, light and darkness.” iv

The crude oil is red largely from the highly toxic Corexit used to disperse the oil and keep it on the bottom of the ocean where BP won’t have to pay for clean up.

As per Revelations, the Whore of Babylon is the mother of harlots and abominations of the earth. This part today should be easy to spot. Look at Hollywood and all the filth the media promotes nowadays (even the non-religious will notice). Being a media Whore is big business. Everybody sees it.

Look at Madonna, once a Catholic Italian girl, who found big-time success as a singing slut. Now she’s completely a Judaized monstrosity. She also belongs to the New Age Kaballah Centre and is on personal terms with Israel’s elite Zionist masters, like Shimon Peres. She even called herself the Whore of Babylon for one of her concert tours and freely mocked the crucifixion of Christ (above).

Madonna is an easy example, but not the only one, by far. One only has to turn on the TV to see the latest Jew Media Whore of the hour – like Cyndi Lauper, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Gwen Stefani, or you can now gag on “Lady Gaga.” These are just the tip of the iceburg — thousands upon thousands of deluded young women are out in southern California waiting in line to prostitute themselves for the media.

Euphrates River Dries Up

The front page of Tuesday morning’s New York Times had a stunning headline: “Iraq Suffers as the Euphrates River Dwindles.”

The drying up of this historic river in the land of ancient Babylon is so stunning, that even the Times had to note that Bible prophecy says this will happen in the “last days” of history, in the lead up to the apocalyptic battle of Armageddon described in the Book of Revelation.

Excerpts from the Times story: “Throughout the marshes, the reed gatherers, standing on land they once floated over, cry out to visitors in a passing boat. ‘Maaku mai!’ they shout, holding up their rusty sickles. ‘There is no water!’ The Euphrates is drying up. Strangled by the water policies of Iraq’s neighbors, Turkey and Syria; a two-year drought; and years of misuse by Iraq and its farmers, the river is significantly smaller than it was just a few years ago. Some officials worry that it could soon be half of what it is now. The shrinking of the Euphrates, a river so crucial to the birth of civilization that the Book of Revelation prophesied its drying up as a sign of the end times, has decimated farms along its banks, has left fishermen impoverished and has depleted riverside towns as farmers flee to the cities looking for work.”
