Avatar, 666, and the All Seeing Eye

Avatar: The term “Avatar” is a Sanskrit term meaning “descent.” It is used in Hinduism to describe the incarnation of a Hindu deity, usually the god Vishnu, who visits earth to help humanity at a crisis point. Vishnu has allegedly appeared nine times in various guises (including as the Buddha) throughout history, and will come again. However, the term “avatar” has migrated into popular alternative spiritualities and usually describes a spiritually advanced being that comes to earth to guide people, sometimes without the need for birth; the Avatar merely incarnates at will as an adult. (”Avatar” is also used to designate a computerized personal image used for online identification, no doubt deriving from the original meaning of incarnation). The “Avatar” cartoon features a child Avatar named Aang.

Benjamin Creme is an artist, author, self proclaimed esotericist, and owner of Share International magazine (his regular newsletter and website).

He asserts that the second coming prophesied by many religions will come in the form of “Maitreya”. Maitreya is the name Buddhists use for the future Buddha, but Creme claims that Maitreya is the teacher that all religions point towards and hope for . Other names for him, according to Creme, are the Christ, the Imam Mahdi, Krishna, and the Messiah. Creme says Maitreya is the “Avatar for the Aquarian Age” and is currently living in London.

According to Benjamin Creme, The Ascended Masters live in a dimension that hovers over the Gobi Desert (Shamballa), are led by Sanat Kumara, which Theosophist Dane Rudyar referred to as “King Satan.” The world has been continually infiltrated by Theosophists, with what they believe to be consciousness-altering “light” in order to prepare us for the unity necessary to receive Sanat Kumara as our world leader and true spiritual identity. The next expected avatar who will bridge the gap between western and eastern mysticism will supposedly be Maitreya, who is one of the higher Kumaras, who will usher in the wide reception of Sanat Kumara.

Creme says that the aspect of God that we aspire to is the Logos of our planet, who is embodied for us as Sanat Kumara, on Shamballa. He is our “Father ….In the coming age many, many people will see God as Sanat Kumara and take the third initiation ….When you take the third initiation you see God, as Sanat Kumara, the Lord of the world, who is a real physical being in etheric matter on Shamballa.” (Reappearance of Christ and The Masters of Wisdom, p. 135)

Creme talks about Maitreya being the 1st and 2nd initiations who “prepares the way” for this “Lord of the World” – “Sanat Kumara”, the third initiation. David Spangler another Blavatsky/Bailey disciple makes no bones about the identity of this initiator. He calls this the “Luciferic Initiation.”

The true light of Lucifer cannot be seen through sorrow, through darkness, through reflection. The true light of this great being can only be recognized when one’s own eyes can see with the light of the Christ, the light of the inner sun. Lucifer works within each of us to bring us to wholeness, and as we move into the New Age, which is the age of man’s wholeness, each of us is brought to that point which I term the Luciferic Initiation, the particular doorway through which the individual must pass if he is to come fully into the presence of his light and his wholeness.

Lucifer comes to give us the final gift of wholeness. If we accept it, then he is free and we are free, that is the Luciferic Initiation. It is one that many people now, and in the days ahead, will be facing, for it is an initiation into the New Age.

Freemasons believe that using the number 666 will hasten Lucifer’s coming and the new age. Lucis Trust, the UN’s publishing company, was created in 1920 by Alice Bailey, a Luciferian, and her husband, Foster Bailey, author of The Spirit of Masonry. The organization was originally called the “Lucifer Publishing Company”, because Bailey worshiped Lucifer, the Devil, Diablos, The Slanderer. Lucis Trust has “consultative status” at the UN. Its goal is to initiate “The Externalization of the Heirarchy“.

In her book, The Externalization of the Heirarchy, Bailey announced that 1934 marked the beginning of ”the organizing of the men and women… group work of a New Order [with] progress defined by service … the work of the Brotherhood … the Forces of Light. … Out of the spoliation of all existing culture and civilization, the New World Order must be built.”

The Lucis Trust is the Publishing House which prints and disseminates United Nations material. It is a devastating indictment of the New Age and Pagan nature of the UN. Lucis Trust was established in 1922 as Lucifer Trust by Alice Bailey as the publishing company to disseminate the books of Bailey and Blavatsky and the Theosophical Society. The title page of Alice Bailey’s book, ‘Initiation, Human and Solar’ was originally printed in 1922, and clearly shows the publishing house as ‘Lucifer Publishing CoIn 1923. Bailey changed the name to Lucis Trust, because Lucifer Trust revealed the true nature of the New Age Movement too clearly. (Constance Cumbey, The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow, p. 49). A quick trip to any New Age bookstore will reveal that many of the hard-core New Age books are published by Lucis Trust.

At one time, the Lucis Trust office in New York was located at 666 United Nations Plaza and is a member of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations under a slick program called “World Goodwill”. In an Alice Bailey book called “Education for a New Age”; she suggests that in the new age “World Citizenship should be the goal of the enlightened, with a world federation and a world brain.” In other words – a One World Government New World Order.

Both J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis were initiated in the H.O.G.D. (The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn), which is a deeply occult, black magic secret society. – A high initiated witch related that both Tolkien and C.S. Lewis were initiated in the H.O.G.D. (The “Order of the Golden Dawn” was primarily made up of mystical “Christians” and former followers of Madame Blavatsky the founder of the Theosophical Society that still adhered to Luciferianism.) During a discussion about Tolkien and his work, this male witch commented that “The Hobbit” and the rest of the Middle-Earth series was merely an elementary ‘primer’ for witchcraft. He was even a bit irritated at the lack of background knowledge about Tolkien among the people gathered. Later he added C.S. Lewis to the conversation as another well known literary figure who was initiated in the H.O.G.D. If this is true or not is hard to say, but it is interesting and well worth looking further into. However, there are more indications that both Tolkien and Lewis had Golden Dawn connections. Charles Williams was a friend of Lewis and Tolkien and also a member of the H.O.G.D. Williams along with Tolkien and Lewis, were members of a close knit Oxford reading group known as “The Inklings.” This is almost certainly where Lewis arrived at his extra-biblical ideas concerning the Holy Grail and other mid-evil myths.

The Golden Dawn is one of most prolific and legendary of all Western secret and esoteric societies. Hundreds of people, from the rich and famous to the common man, have walked through its halls of the neophyte. Very few stood as tall in the history of the occult sciences as Arthur Edward Waite, the creator of the Rider Waite Tarot Deck.

The Hebrew Kabbalistic Tree of Life (studied in-depth by Masons) displays the Roman numerals IX-XI (9-11) when the tree has “fallen” or is shown on its side. And in the Tarot (also studied by Masons) there is much significance as well. The Major Arcana card “The Tower” shows a tall tower being struck by lightning, fire coming out the windows, and people falling to their deaths – all of which happened on 9/11, if the lightning is symbolically substituted by an airplane. In “The High Priestess” tarot card, Isis (the Statue of Liberty) is seen between the black and white Masonic pillars of Mercy and Severity, Boaz and Jachin (the Two Towers). The 13th “Death” tarot card also shows two towers with the sun between them.

In Freemasonry the two/three pillars are very important and well-known to every Mason. One of the largest Masonic websites is called “The Three Pillars.” They are depicted on the 1st degree tracing board and they are the 3 columns of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. The pillars of Solomon’s temple – Sol-Om-On three words all meaning “Sun” -relate to this as well (note: WTC 7 was the Salomon Brothers Building). The right pillar of Mercy is Male and the left pillar of Severity is Female. Between them is the third androgenous pillar of enlightenment and illumination. This is symbolically depicted in the Tarot Death card where the sun is rising between two towers/pillars. In Da Vinci’s Last Supper, the back wall with two windows can be viewed as three towers/pillars. On the right is a man pointing representing the phallic/masculine, on the left is a very effeminate John representing the feminine, and the sun/son Jesus is in the middle. In the movie Spider-Man there was a deleted-scene with the sun rising between the Twin Towers symbolizing this as well.

In the James Cameron Conspiracy Theory, it was symbolically proven that James Cameron, director of the Terminator films, Aliens, the Abyss, True Lies and Titanic is a 33rd Degree Freemason. In the tradition of Freemasonry, 33rd degree Masons have access to privileged information regarding the workings of world events and knowledge that is hidden from the public.

After being instated as a 33rd Degree Freemason in a brief ceremony before the Academy Awards on March 23rd, 1998 in the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Cameron has spent his free time being initiated into the secrets of the fraternity and being assisted by other 33rd Degree Freemasons.

Belly is a 1998 movie, the feature film debut of music video director Hype Williams. DMX’s character is enlisted by the government to assassinate a Farrakhan type minister. In one scene where DMX is buying heroin, you can see a serpent encircling the globe on the package label. The serpent represents the serpent in the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. Farrakhan is famous for his anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

Sherlock Holmes Film

The new Sherlock Holmes film featuring Robert Downey Jr. pits the Victorian detective against the villainous Lord Blackwood and involves an occult order known as the Temple of the Four Orders.

While the Temple of the Four Orders is an invention of the film, it clearly draws from sources such as the Freemasons and the Golden Dawn. Indeed, publicity concerning the film repeatedly compares Blackwood to onetime Golden Dawn member , although i personally find such a comparison to be rather stretching things.

Regardless, I have to applaud the film writers for doing a bit of homework! While occult scribbles abound throughout the film, there’s no references to Satan or demons. (A couple quick images of Baphomet are seen, but those are historically appropriate.) Imagery does include sphinxes, alchemical symbols, pentagrams and crosses, all of which make sense for a 19th century occult group. Their uses of layered symbolism in complex images likewise is congruent with what real world magical orders were creating at the time.

In short, the film largely abandons the usual exaggerated hysterics and instead builds a relatively believable occult group, while of course taking certain liberties for the good for the story.
